Our Farm
Stem & Vine Flower Farm is a specialty cut flower farm located in both Bristol and Farmington CT. We serve the Farmington Valley and Western Hartford County.
We specialize in Spring Flowers and Dahlias. All of our flowers are grown here on our farm by our small family team.
Our Mission
At Stem & Vine, we believe in sharing joy through locally grown flowers and working with nature to do so. Our farm focuses on regenerative practices, and providing habitat to native birds and pollinators. In 2024, we became recognized as a Monarch Butterfly Waystation.
We never spray our flowers with pesticides - so you can bring your fresh flowers home and enjoy their fragrance too.
We professionally condition all of our flowers so you receive florist quality blooms, grown locally and sustainably.
Our Story
Ian and I have always loved flowers. In every home we've lived in, we've cultivated a garden. What was once an interest in perennial landscaping grew into backyard food production, a flock of chickens, and a collection of hundreds of flower seeds.
In late 2022, we took the leap into micro flower farming. While Ian maintains a full-time job off-farm, he leads our infrastructure projects and is always willing to listen to my new, bigger, and brighter ideas for the farm.
