River’s Penelope gives me Dr. Seuss vibes - ultra unique in its petal structure and shape, with ruffled blooms floating atop super long stems. For lack of a better word, it’s a weird one, but so captivating in person. We didn’t trial her as a cut flower, but my bet is that she’d do well due to her upward facing nature and incredible stem length.
A prolific bloomer and a moderate tuber producer.
Most blooms have a dark purple skirt with a wine/burgundy top, though some blooms appeared more on the red side for us.
